Like Family Home Nursing Services provides capable and knowledgeable home healthcare professionals committed to the health and well-being of the patient and their family. We are a Nurse Practitioner owned agency dedicated to delivering the science of nursing with the art of caring for patients – we care for you like family.

We provide 24/7 private duty nursing for a discerning clientele who demand a high-degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality. Our staff -- an appropriate mix of RNs, LVNs and CHHAs – are all screened, licensed and bonded. We also offer intermittent visits for private insurance patients

Like Family founder Debora Trickett, RN, CFNP, blends her background as a sought-after Nurse Practitioner with her extensive credentials as a nursing supervisor, trainer and educator. She has served in those capacities at major hospitals such as UCLA, Massachusetts General, Georgetown University and Cedars Sinai Medical Center as well as at universities, large
physician’s practices, RN agencies and home health care environments.

Part of the personalized, caring touch that Like Family provides stems from the fact that besides teaching and managing others, Debora is a Nurse Practitioner and has personally cared for so many patients and families. She has hands-on experience in diverse areas including oncology, neurology, trauma ICU and cardiology as well as newborns and the elderly or disabled – in both hospital and outpatient settings.
